The purpose of this website is to exhibit and share my expanding collection of photographs and writing.  Nothing else.

Human Beings: their history, culture and behaviour and the environments and landscapes they have created are my primary interest and I travel widely to broaden and deepen my understanding.

My photographs and writing are not about asserting my own originality, creativity or skill but my way of communicating deep, personal experience: what I have witnessed, how I have responded emotionally and the events I have experienced during this brief and fleeting span of time we are allocated on this precious planet; a life lived fully during the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
